The hotel was in a perfect location. The room was clean and tidy. Considering the area was hit with a disastrous flood a few years ago, only the pavement in the parking lot was effected. It was nothing fancy or updated but it was a solid hotel and the staff was very friendly and the room was very clean.

While the rooms may not be fancy, the manager, Augustine Shadab, could not have been better. When my rental car key fob battery died and I could not get the car doors open or the key fob, he found a video, opened it for me and not finding the skinny emergency key drove me to Walgreens found the right battery, and put it in saving my day!

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The owner was so accommodating to our very late check in. Will definitely stay again.

The exterior condition of the property needs improvement. Finish construction and cleanup of parking lot. I had a more popular motel of the same town in mind. So this lodging was a second choice. I found it was a better value and roomier inside than the preferred motel.

We hadn't realized it before we arrived, but the village of Highland Falls had been hammered by floods three weeks before our stay. Folks were well into fixing up the town. We had a great time walking around talking to people about what had happened, and were glad we could support the local economy. The village of Cornwall and Stormking State Park were both nearby and great places to visit as well.

Ogi was great, very welcoming and always willing to improve the services. I came without the car so he offered me a lift twice. It was highly appreciated. He was very responsive and someone came to clean the bathroom when I noted it was not clean. Finally, he also shared some tea with me as I am not a big coffee drinker.
